Queanbeyan has always produced an abundant of rugby talent. In 2003 nine of the 23 ACT Schoolboy jumpers were for Queanbeyan lads.

Those selected were Daniel Charnock, Saia Faingaa, Jordan Wind, James Stonham, James Maher, Mark Henjak, Anthony Faingaa, Brendan Lyons and Richard Windsor. Charnock was from Marist with the rest from Eddies.
Throw in two players who came to the Whites -John Kevin and Max Owens- then there were eleven.
Two went on to be selected for the Australian Schoolboys, James Stonham and Saia Faingaa. They played alongside Digby Iona, Tatafu Polota-Nau, Julian Salvi and Laurie Weeks.
