All Whites’ grades will contest the final series on the weekend with firsts and seconds in the major semi-final on Saturday and the other grades in the minor semi-finals on Sunday at Viking Park.
First grade finished second on the ladder losing just two games through the regular season while Tuggers lost three but had more bonus points to finish on top. While Queanbeyan had a bye last weekend, Royals produced a boil over by defeating Tuggers 30-28.
Royals and Gungahlin will play the sudden death semi on Sunday and it will be a cracker.
Whites seconds finished five lengths ahead of the field but must start again in the major semi. Colts finished fourth and have nothing to lose as they battle with Gungahlin to stay alive. Thirds and fourths also face the season end if they lose. Both grades have been travelling pretty well over the last weeks and their wins over Cooma 21-0 and 33-10 put them in good stead.
