Must win

One of the best Soakai Tai

One of the best Soakai Tai

The Whites face an in-form Wests at Campese Oval on Saturday with the Lions accounting for Tuggeranong last Saturday 35-31 while Queanbeyan had the bye.
It is a must win for the Whites with the battle for third and fourth spot and only two rounds remaining. Wests are on 50 point, the Whites on 43 and Gungahlin on 40.
Queanbeyan play Wests and then Easts, Wests last round is against Gungahlin while the Eagles face Tuggeranong this weekend. The Eagles were flightless last week copping a 70-7 loss to Royals.
The Whites will come up against a very good scrummaging pack though the Queanbeyan eight has met all challengers this season. With the forwards basically unchanged they have good balance with Josh Townsend and Toby Wilson the work horses while prop Neori Nadruku and backrowers Soakai Tai and captain Dan Penca adding the flair.
In second grade, the Whites sit equal third with Uni-Norths on 53 just behind Royals on 56. Gungahlin are still a threat on 44.
Colts will finish third as they are on 52 points while fourth placed Owls are on 37 points. Thirds are third just ahead of Tuggeranong and should win against the lowly placed Cooma. Fourths are second just in front of Gungahlin and need to keep on winning to maintain the second chance in the finals.
Thirds and fourths play Cooma this weekend and finish off with ADFA who are performing exceptionally well this year.
Saturday is Ladies Day with proceeds going to HOME in Queanbeyan.
