Big show

The 2019 development dinner turned into a big show with appearances from five of Queanbeyan’s best.

Lewis Holland, Robbie Coleman, Jack Lam, Les Leuluaialii-Makin and Sam Windsor appeared via the big screens and all were very flattering of the Whites and encouraged the 2019 school leavers to join the club in 2020.

It was a very impressive dinner and presentation by the incoming colts’ coaches-Dan Penca, Alex Bower, Tom G. Darmody and Maligi Finau all on the staff.

Matt Kilmister takes on the manager’s role replacing Kel Armstrong who has moved to first grade.

Fifteen recruits and many parents joined development fund contributing members for the night with MC Dan Hawke keeping the show on the go.

Presentations were given by head coach Sam French, president Ian Darmody and strength and conditioning guru Josh Strahorn.

Finau rejoins the club after a stint in administration with Wests. He is warmly welcome as he adds balance, a sense of style and a touch of humour to the Whites.
