27 Jan Changing of the guard
Around 60 players have been feeling the heat at pre-season training with the high temperatures and the high work rates taking their toll.
The club is undergoing a generational change with many of the stalwarts retiring like Dan Penca while others struggle with longer-term injuries, Toby Wilson and Zac Tarrant.
There are plenty of new faces and a solid core of the old such as prop Neori Nadruku, Tyron Dargue and Carl Elliott. It also good to see utility back Fraser smith back in training after an injury lay-off.
Trainings continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm. The season’s calendar is under the Events tab. The division one draw should be released this week.
