Comeback kings -Flashback 2007

A part of the Queanbeyan crowd went home at half time in the 2007 preliminary final. Who could blame them with Queanbeyan down 28-0 to the home side at Erindale. The Whites had conceded four tries.

Centre Henry Seavula started the revival with an early try in the second half which led to another and another with the Whites closing to 28-21. Vikings scored their fifth and again it looked over.

The Whites defeated Royals in the semi-final with Seavula scoring two tries and kicking two goals

Winger Mark Henjak was out of the game due to an injury and along came Robbie Beath. He would not be stopped. He could not be stopped scoring three consecutive tries to put the side up 36-35.

Seavula was on hand to scoop up a loose ball and send captain Josh Hastings away for his second to secure a return trip for the grand final against Gungahlin.

Try scorers were: Beath 3, Hastings 2, Seavula and Jimmy Maher with Seavula converting four.
