The 2018 John I. Dent Cup competition starts on April 7 with the Whites at home to Gungahlin. This will be a major test for Queanbeyan with the Eagles spending every effort to build an unbeatable side backed by the biggest growth area in the region.
On the other hand, the Whites are showing confidence in their established starters with a sprinkling of the up and comers from the colts and second grade.

Coach Paul Dillon has shown that he is not afraid to change things around and keep players on their toes and far from complacent. A few injury concerns may prevent the firsts being at full strength making it an even bigger challenge.

The club is still seeking to strengthen the player numbers and with the new mandatory RU Australia online registration it has become a major concern of club rugby. Already Young has dropped from two sides to one team and expect further falls in player numbers.

You can no longer rock up and play. You must register and pay before you can play. To register either download the Rugby AU app or go to the whites rugby web page (Registration tab) and follow the prompts to register as a senior player but do it now.
