The ACT will meet the Barbarians on Friday at 12.30 in the play off for third and fourth at the Under 19 championships at Erindale Island. Six Whites are decked out for the ACT and another two for the Baa Baas. Prop Fred Kaihea has been outstanding at the championships with flanker Wyll Holland and five eighth Will Goddard impressive.

       From Blues to Baa Baaa- lock Zane Marolt

Winger Petau Lefau has struggle with an ankle injury and Tony Mika Eli  and Becks Seeto have impressed off the bench. Prop Vinnie De Masson and Zane Marolt will represent the Barbarians making Queanbeyan’s total representation of eight. That’s great.

On Saturday the Australian Schoolboy Barbarians with coach assistant Dan Hawke will meet Tonga on the Gold Coast. You can watch it through Rugby.com.

Fifteen men’s teams and nine women’s teams will contest the Queanbeyan Sevens on Saturday October 13th with two Whites’ sides and another led by Angus Balmaks. Any assistance you can lend on the day would be appreciated. Games start at 9.20 and go through to the men’s cup final at 3.20pm.

The Development Fund dinner is on Friday the 12th at the White House with players leaving school invited to attend along with fund sponsors. It is an important night as the club attracts new colts into the Whites.

The Whites’ AGM is on Wednesday,November the 28th, from 6pm with all welcome.
