Two ex-Whites players with the Seattle Saracenes

The Whites will meet Tuggeranong at Campese Oval on Saturday in the last trial before the first home game against Wests on March 25th.
Third/ fourth grade will kick off at 10.30,followed by the colts at 12.15, reserve grade at 1.40 and firsts at 3.05.

It will be a difficult day with many new faces competing for spots and the club already having a list of injured players. However the expectations of another season of rugby will also bring out the competitiveness.

The club does not have a whole lot of depth in the front row and there may have to be a few “volunteers” to shift up front. One player who has the answered the call is Dan Penca. Penca went back to his old hooker role at Wollongong and proved his worth. With regular first grade rake Carl Elliott out with injury he may have to stay there for a little while and ruin his good looks.

Colts have the numbers and the cattle to do well but it will be a real juggling act to keep the players involved while trying to build combinations. Coach Dan Hawke and his assistants will be working hard to bring the schoolboys up to men’s rugby.
