05 Apr Lime man
Flanker Ryan Jones has been named the season’s first ACTRU Club Lime player of the round.
As part of his prize he will be able to flex his muscles at any Club Lime venue for the next three months wearing his Club Lime hat wiping the benches with his Club Lime towel and carrying his Club Lime water bottle.
Ryan was included in the winning first grade side due to the absence of Captain Dan Penca. Coach Adam Fahey now has the most difficult decision to make with Penca available for Gungahlin.
Jones has played some first grade and has never let the side down and this season he appears to be totally committed to his football where in the past other activities such as pig shooting have had priority.
His performances throughout the pre-season were classy. He has a big motor and is a very physical competitor.
