Fourth grade (9.35) and colts (11.35) play in the preliminary finals on Saturday with the fourths up against Tuggeranong and colts facing Gungahlin.

Both games will be a huge test for the Whites with Tuggers boasting plenty of smart footballers and the Eagles running hot at the right end.

Colts will be keen to get out of the blocks quickly and not allow the opposition to use their big men. If they can run Gungahlin around and use the width of the Erindale field they will go a long way to a place in the grand final.

Centre Pat Byrne and Caleb Malisauskas need to get the ball to allow the wingers Isaiah Latu and Petau Lefau space. The general kicking of Brad Winchester will also be critical.

Fourths will rely heavily on lock Tim MacNamara and No 8 Tom G. Darmody to get on the front foot. The speedsters can do the rest with Jordan Read, Luke Cochrane and Kyle Hanns full of fuel.

The club has the canteen on Saturday so if you have a spare moment your help would be appreciated.
