With the Brumbies match against the Sunwolves moved from Singapore to a much closer Wollongong, the Brumby Runners team to take on the Rebels ‘A’ side has been selected and the side is a fantastic mix of contracted players and the young up-and-coming talent from the region.

The Whites will be well represented with having 3 starters in the side and another 3 hoping to have an impact off the bench.

Along with contracted players lock Nick Frost and outside centre Guy Porter, young backrower Zeph Tuinona will be given his first start in a Runners game after coming off the bench in the early season trial and the first 2 Runners games.   Prop Harry Lloyd, halves Issak Fines and Bayley Kuenzle, centre Len Ikitau and fullback Mack Hansen will be other fully contracted Brumbies taking on the Rebels.

Young Whites stars Davea Teoteo, Fred Kaihea and Zane Marolt will join a host of young talent from around the region that has shown that they have the ability to take the step up to the next level based on previous outings.

In another positive sign, all 7 Premier Division clubs are represented in the Runners squad for this game which will create some added interest to the local competition when it kicks off at the end of March.
