The Whites have six players in the Brumbies Under 19 side to contest the national championships from the 28th September in Canberra. Two other players have been included in the Australian Barbarians.
Backs Will Goddard and Petau Lefau and forwards Mika Eli, Wyll Holland, Fred Kaihea and Becs Seeto will represent the ACT while Vincent De Masson and Zane Marolt are in the Barbarians.
The representation from the Whites is a vote of confidence in the club’s future and again reflects the importance of the development fund and the associated 2620 program.
Marolt is a bolter as he hardly played rugby in 2018 but will suit up for the club in 2019.
The Barbarians start the championships at Erindale with a game against Sydney City at 10.30am on Saturday the 29th with the ACT meeting NSW Country in the last game of the day at 4.30pm.
Sunday is a rest day with the Baa Baas first up again on Monday at 10.30 against Queensland Country followed by the ACT against Brisbane City at 12.30.
Tuesday is another rest day with the Barbarians playing Victoria at 10.30 on Wednesdsay and then the ACT playing West Australia at 12.30pm.
Friday is the finals day with the grand final at 2pm and all teams involved in play-offs for positions in the eight.
