With the loss of five eighth Josh White, Zac Tartrant stepped up and proved he can handle first grade. He is a different player that White. More a runner and gives his outside backs plenty of go forward ball. Both centres, Billy Chalker and Keith Morgan, enjoyed some space and both scored doubles. in the 53-5 win over Easts. Second grade won 98-0 while Easts could not field a third grade and do not have colts or fourths.

it is difficult to judge the performance given the state of Easts not that they gave up but they are a club in dire straits.
The old-fashioned work horse Toby Wilson was in the thick of everythinG dominating the lineouts and the hitups. With Jake Holland, Tony Tarlinton, Doug Lancaster and Tarrant getting a top grade run it was a pleasing performance.

Back rower Tom G. Darmody, half Mitch Douch and centre Chaler were best.

Second grade notched up 16 tries with nine converted to nearly make the ton.Angus Balmax was on the video camera side and scored four tries as did Riley Ahern. Ahern kicked nine conversions to give himself a tally of 38. Colts like Tom Mitchell and Adam Wise enjoyed the experience. The runners like David Kerr and Ryan Jones had a field day.

Next week Queanbeyan play Gungahlin at Campese in the second last home game of the season. They then have a tough run against Tuggeranong and Wests away.
